MediSecure® scripts download from our secure Script Vault™ ensuring that the script you dispense is the one prescribed by your customer's doctor.
The extra security measures that have been added to MediSecure® Scripts mean that you can be confident that the script is not a forgery.
Importantly all dispensing software can connect to MediSecure® via simple interfaces. You don't need to use a particular dispense system to get the advantages of ETP. All dispensing software can easily access the MediSecure® Script Vault™.
The MediSecure® ETP program goes commercial in July 2009. Through our standards-compliance, open architecture and agreements with doctor organisations; we will reach over 80% of Doctor's Desktops. This means more electronic scripts for you to download and of course more electronic scripts means increased profits in your dispensary.
The standard fees for a pharmacy to join and use MediSecure® are:
- $250.00 plus GST joining fee
- 25¢ plus GST per script download usage fee
MediSecure® is committed to promoting the Electronic Transmission of Prescriptions. Our customers are not restricted to using particular software, nor are they prevented from signing up to other ETP systems.
We believe that more pharmacies using ETP sooner gives better health outcomes across the whole community.
